General Info
Billy Blue English School provides quality English language teaching in an
international study environment, and the warm individual attention which
only a small school can offer.
Our classes are serious but enjoyable, focusing on the individual needs of
the students in the group. Students come from all over the world to study
at Billy Blue English School to create a lively international learning
community. We have a maximum of 15 students per class, with some classes
being as small as 6 students, and personal attention and support is always
assured.
At Billy Blue English School, there is an average of 21 hours per week of
classes and students are expected to complete Self Study for a further 4
hours per week.

Billy Blue English School's Job Workshop provides our Working Holiday and
Student Visa students with assistance and advice (Resume Writing Skills,
Interview Skills, Where to look for Jobs etc) on obtaining casual,
part-time employment during their studies.

- General Intensive English (2 - 52 weeks)
- Cambridge Exam Preparation (12 weeks) - FCE and CAE
- English for Academic Purposes (12 - 24 weeks) - with Direct Entry (no
IELTS required) to a range of academic institutes
- Graphic Arts Bridging Program (12 weeks)
- Hotel Management Bridging Program (12 weeks)
- English for Hospitality & Tourism (10 week modules) - with Direct Entry
(no IELTS required) to Le Cordon Bleu, Sydney campus
English Course Fees (2004):
Enrolment fee – A$200
Overseas Student Health Cover – depends on length of visa
Tuition fees (all courses except Cambridge):
- A$340 per week (1-19 weeks)
- A$310 per week (20-39 weeks)
- A$290 per week (40+ weeks)
Materials fee – A$40 (per enrolment)
Tuition fees (Cambridge Exam Preparation):
A$4506 per course (12 weeks)
Exam fees – A$335 (FCE) / A$340 (CAE) – includes texts & study retreat

Location
We are located in the heart of leafy North Sydney, just a few minutes
across the Sydney Harbour Bridge from downtown Sydney.
Billy Blue Group includes William Blue International Hotel Management
School, Billy Blue School of Graphic Arts and Billy Blue English School
all in the one campus.

Accommodation
We can arrange for you:
- homestay with an Australian family (within 30 minutes by public
transport from our School)
- other accommodation on request (guesthouses, lodges, apartments,
hostels, hotels)
Fees:
Placement fee – A$200
Homestay – A$215 per week (single room)
(A$240 per week – 16 & 17 years)
We also arrange Airport transfer for A$99 one way.
Visa information
Student Visa holders are able, once they have
commenced their studies in Australia, to apply for Work Permission. Our
Reception staff will assist you with documents for this application.
A Student Visa with Work Permission allows you to work up to 20 hours per
week in part-time, casual work, provided all the attendance (minimum 80%)
and coursework requirements of the course of study are met.
